Tracy Wedding

August 2024

The flowers for this wedding were very classy and sophisticated. It was the first wedding we created with lisianthus as the main flower and it started a bit of a trend! A lot of people mistake lisianthus for a tea rose, but they have a much more delicate shape, and almost look like silk. Each stem has a range of flowers in different stages of their life, some open, some buds, and some in between.

The bouquets were paired with jade alstroemeria. It appears different from the traditional alstroemeria, it almost looks like mini orchids in a beautiful soft green colour. This green hue, paired with the green of the lisianthus buds, complimented each other magically. To lighten the colours of the bouquet, we added white veronica, and white gyp/ babys breath. Both of which add a unique shape, as well as lift the green colour.

For the buttonholes and cake toppers, we made small posies consisting of lisianthus, veronica, gyp and eucalyptus, again following the same style.

They wanted to present their family with a beautiful bouquet for helping to make the day come together. We made one with a mixture of lisianthus, september flowers, carnations and iris, ensuring the family members understood how much their help contributing and attending the wedding means to the bride and groom.
